THE CHALLENGE HERE WAS TO GIVE COMPELLING FORM TO THE WORD "CLOUDFOAM" AS A WAY TO PUSH THE AESTHETIC LIMITS AND VALUE PERCEPTION OF THE PRODUCT FORWARD. IT WAS ALSO A CHALLENGE TO CREATE A FRANCHISE PRODUCT THAT WOULD HYPOTHETICALLY SELL TO THE PUBLIC FOR $85 OR LESS. ASIDE FROM BEING BRAND AND MARKET CONSCIOUS, I WAS INSPIRED BY THE AMORPHOUS SHAPES CREATED BY OTHER ARTISTS WHO ALSO HAD THE IDEA TO ABSTRACT A CLOUDFORM INTO A PHYSICAL, STATIC OBJECT. ONE SCULPTURE IN PARTICULAR I WAS INSPIRED HAPPENED TO BE THROUGH MY TRAVELS, STOPPING IN AT THE ZURICH AIRPORT.
